This album is from 2001ish and was my first attempt at recording music. I obviously went the experimental route... I was, at the time, in the rock alt group Floob and this was a side project. I thought this album was lost forever, but found it again in 2021.

It was originally released under the name, J0n@than and the Mountainhead, but I have decided to rerelease it as Junkfeathers to keep all my weird music collected in one place. The Mountainhead albums were experimental and collections of music with friends. There is one other called Full Spectrum Machine.

I don't remember much about recording this album, I believe I was using a borrowed tascam portastudio

Even though I was writing rock songs and acoustic folk songs too, this album I got to be my weird self as I am still being today.

Rob Hardy, who wrote and performed Iron Bell, has since passed and I also wanted to preserve the songs he recorded with me. He has another song called, Crush to Death, on the Full Spectrum album.
